Licking Park District Board of Park Commissioners Selects Kiracofe as 2021 Chairman

GRANVILLE, OHIO (February 5, 2021) Jim Kiracofe was again selected by fellow Park Commissioners as the 2021 Chairman. He served as Chairman in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Mr. Kiracofe has been a member of the Board since 2015. He is a former District Program Administrator of the Licking Soil & Water Conservation District and still actively farms in the Utica area. Mr. Kiracofe’s leadership has guided the Board and Park District through the continuing COVID pandemic and he works closely with the Director in accomplishing the mission of the Licking Park District.

GRANVILLE, OHIO (February 10, 2020) Licking Park District is pleased to announce that Jim Bradley and Jim Kiracofe have been reappointed as board members, each for an additional three-year term, by Judge Robert Hoover. Comprised of five members, the board meets monthly to support the work of the Licking Park District and provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance. Service on Licking Park District’s Board of Park Commissioners is without remuneration.

Trails at Taft Reserve are OPEN to HORSES. Trails at Infirmary Mound Park and Lobdell Reserve are CLOSED to HORSES due to conditions unsuitable for equine traffic. **TJE Trail east of Granville between the cemetery and Rotary Bridge/Raccoon Valley Park due to bank slip; **There will be periodic closures April 22-26, dawn to dusk, on the TJ Evans Bike Trail from Concord Rd (Johnstown) to the cemetery area in Granville east of Main St for hazardous tree removal. Bike Trails: TJ Evans Trail between Newark and Granville: The TJ Evans bike trail will be CLOSED at the new Thornwood Crossing bridge area, Mon-Fri, 7a-5p, until further notice. There will be other, temporary closures intermittently over the following few months, during working hours (7A-5P; M-F).
