**TJE Trail east of Granville between the cemetery and Rotary Bridge/Raccoon Valley Park due to bank slip; **There will be periodic closures April 15-19, dawn to dusk, on the TJ Evans Bike Trail from Concord Rd (Johnstown) to the cemetery area in Granville east of Main St for hazardous tree removal. **The TJ Evans Bike Trail from Moots Run Rd to Concord Rd will be CLOSED on Monday, 15 for herbicide application. Trails at Taft Reserve, Infirmary Mound Park and Lobdell Reserve are CLOSED to HORSES due to conditions unsuitable for equine traffic. Bike Trails: TJ Evans Trail between Newark and Granville: The TJ Evans bike trail will be CLOSED at the new Thornwood Crossing bridge area, Mon-Fri, 7a-5p, possibly thru Mar 29. There will be other, temporary closures intermittently over the following few months, during working hours (7A-5P; M-F). The Night Tree Story and DIY ornaments
Please join us for this family friendly activity that includes a reading of the children’s book the Night Tree by Eve Bunting, making wildlife friendly ornaments, then hiking into the park after dark to decorate our own night tree!
Participants can join in person or pick up a kit filled with wildlife friendly ornament making supplies to do at home. A reading of the book, as well as instructional videos, will be available online. So you can listen to the story, create wildlife friendly ornaments, enjoy hot chocolate, and venture out to decorate a night tree at the park or at home!
