**The Panhandle Trail (Dayton Rd to Felumlee Rd) will be CLOSED on MONDAY April 22 for herbicide spraying. **TJE Trail east of Granville between the cemetery and Rotary Bridge/Raccoon Valley Park due to bank slip; **There will be periodic closures April 22-26, dawn to dusk, on the TJ Evans Bike Trail from Concord Rd (Johnstown) to the cemetery area in Granville east of Main St for hazardous tree removal. Trails at Taft Reserve, Infirmary Mound Park and Lobdell Reserve are CLOSED to HORSES due to conditions unsuitable for equine traffic. Bike Trails: TJ Evans Trail between Newark and Granville: The TJ Evans bike trail will be CLOSED at the new Thornwood Crossing bridge area, Mon-Fri, 7a-5p, until further notice. There will be other, temporary closures intermittently over the following few months, during working hours (7A-5P; M-F). Family Adventures: Let’s Fly a Kite!

Spend a fun afternoon flying kites at the arena area of Infirmary Mound Park! Drop in for a little bit or stay the whole time!
For some kiting is a hobby! For others kiting is an active, passionate sport. From an educational perspective, kites are great for learning about a variety of subjects from creative uses of graphics and colors to physics and aerodynamics.
Kites will be available to try and you are welcome to bring your own!
