Trails at Infirmary Mound Park, Taft Reserve and Lobdell Reserve are CLOSED to HORSES due to conditions unsuitable for equine traffic. **TJE Trail east of Granville between the cemetery and Rotary Bridge/Raccoon Valley Park due to bank slip; **There will be periodic closures April 22-26, dawn to dusk, on the TJ Evans Bike Trail from Concord Rd (Johnstown) to the cemetery area in Granville east of Main St for hazardous tree removal. Bike Trails: TJ Evans Trail between Newark and Granville: The TJ Evans bike trail will be CLOSED at the new Thornwood Crossing bridge area, Mon-Fri, 7a-5p, until further notice. There will be other, temporary closures intermittently over the following few months, during working hours (7A-5P; M-F). Earth Day Garlic Mustard Pull

Looking for a way to celebrate Earth Day? How about by helping us eradicate an invasive plant, garlic mustard, from Morris Woods State Nature Preserve? We will meet at the parking area to disperse supplies and directions and then we will walk to the target area. Work will largely be self-guided once there. Bonus, you will be given a garlic mustard pesto recipe and can take some home to cook! Don’t have time to join us? You can still take the Garlic Mustard Challenge in April and May!
