Trails at ALL facilities -Infirmary Mound, Taft Reserve and Lobdell- are CLOSED to HORSES due to wet, muddy conditions. Notice: Bike Trail: 1) Mon Feb 13-Weds Feb 15-TJ Evans bike trail closed between Moots Run Rd and Raccoon Valley Rd for culvert repair work by County Highway Dept. 2)Intermittent closures continue for tree removal project on the TJ Evans Bike Trail just west of the Reddington Rd tunnel. 3) TJ Evans trail is closed at W Church Street until further notice for dam work project. Eagle Watch Hike

Did you know at one point in Ohio there were only FOUR breeding bald eagle pairs? A conservation success story, last year there were 824 active nests in Ohio and two of them are along the TJ Evans trail between Granville and Alexandria!
February is the time of year Bald Eagles will begin sitting on nests in out area. Join us as we hike to the Granville eagle nest on the TJ Evans bike trail to see if we can observe any activity! We will have our spotting scopes. Binoculars are recommended if you have them!
The hike is about 2 miles round trip. We will hike in together. Participants can hike back to the parking area individually when they are ready or with the group.
