Trails at Infirmary Mound Park and Lobdell Reserve are CLOSED to HORSES due to conditions unsuitable for equine traffic. **TJE Trail east of Granville between the cemetery and Rotary Bridge/Raccoon Valley Park due to bank slip; **There will be periodic closures April 22-26, dawn to dusk, on the TJ Evans Bike Trail from Concord Rd (Johnstown) to the cemetery area in Granville east of Main St for hazardous tree removal. Bike Trails: TJ Evans Trail between Newark and Granville: The TJ Evans bike trail will be CLOSED at the new Thornwood Crossing bridge area, Mon-Fri, 7a-5p, until further notice. There will be other, temporary closures intermittently over the following few months, during working hours (7A-5P; M-F). Backyard Conservation: Bluebirds and DIY Bluebird Houses.

$20The bluebirds at Infirmary Mound Park have been very apparent the last few weeks. Do you have bluebirds? Do you want to attract bluebirds? If you answered yes to either of these questions this may be the program for you! We will explore all things bluebirds; their life history, conservation status, how to attract and monitor them on your property. We will also cover some of the other bird species you could provide nestboxes for. The program will end with putting together DIY bluebird houses. The fee is $20 per house kit. Sign up today!
