Backyard Conservation: Bluebirds and DIY Bluebird Nestboxes

March 14 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

$10

The bluebirds at Infirmary Mound Park have been very apparent the last few weeks. Do you have bluebirds? Do you want to attract bluebirds? If you answered yes to either of these questions this may be the program for you! We will explore all things bluebirds; their life history, conservation status, how to attract and monitor them on your property and may take a short stroll to look for them. We will also cover some of the other bird species that use nest boxes. The program will end with an optional putting together of a DIY bluebird nest box (Plans approved by the North American Bluebird Society) to take home.

“Both my neighbor and I attended. And we are both pleased to announce we have a nesting pair in each box we built that day” – -previous participant
“This was an exceptional program. Informative, and a bird house to boot!!! I already have birds nesting in the box!!” – previous participant

You can still attend if not making a nest box, simply drop in!

The fee is $10 per house kit. Sign up today! Payment information will be emailed after sign up.
