Art in the Park: Needle Felted Spring Bird Nest

Even though our Ohio winters aren’t as snowy and cold as they used to be, we still get excited when we see signs of spring. Most of us are ready for longer days, more sunshine, and warmer temperatures. Join artist Megan Henderson to create one of the quintessential harbingers of the season, a felted bird nest complete with eggs! You can let your imagination run wild and create a rainbow of eggs or you can indulge your inner bird nerd and create the most accurate of nest in honor of your favorite avian friend.
This class is beginner friendly and you will learn all of the basic skills of needle felting. If you already have experience, you can challenge your skills by creating a nest shape that is more complicated or try your hand at making a bird to go with it.
All the materials will be supplied, but if you have already purchased a needle felting pad and needles in the past you may bring those and not worry about the supply fee.
