Trails at Infirmary Mound, Lobdell Reserve, and Taft Reserve are Open to horses. Bike Trail: TJ Evans trail is open at W Church Street, but closes again in July for more dam work project. TJ Evans trail will be closed underneath Rt 16 from 6/1 thru 9/1 for bridge replacement. When: Thursdays, July 7th, 14th, 21st @ 9 -11 AM, Saturday, July 30th @ 9 – 11 AM
July 21st and 30th will focus on Japanese Knotweed at Riverview Reserve.
Invasive plants can take over quickly. Removing them helps support biodiversity in the ecosystem. Volunteers will be shown how to identify invasives and learn best practices for removal using hand tools and herbicide. Tools and gloves will be provided for volunteers. Please wear long pants and close toed shoes. The activity level will be moderate; volunteers will be walking, bending down, and using hand tools.
