**The Panhandle Trail (Dayton Rd to Felumlee Rd) will be CLOSED on MONDAY April 22 for herbicide spraying. **TJE Trail east of Granville between the cemetery and Rotary Bridge/Raccoon Valley Park due to bank slip; **There will be periodic closures April 22-26, dawn to dusk, on the TJ Evans Bike Trail from Concord Rd (Johnstown) to the cemetery area in Granville east of Main St for hazardous tree removal. Trails at Taft Reserve, Infirmary Mound Park and Lobdell Reserve are CLOSED to HORSES due to conditions unsuitable for equine traffic. Bike Trails: TJ Evans Trail between Newark and Granville: The TJ Evans bike trail will be CLOSED at the new Thornwood Crossing bridge area, Mon-Fri, 7a-5p, until further notice. There will be other, temporary closures intermittently over the following few months, during working hours (7A-5P; M-F). Zoom DIY Thanksgiving Centerpieces

Our popular program is back – virtual style with a few changes! Come and get creative with the Licking Park District. We will be using natural objects found in the park as well as flowers to make a Thanksgiving Centerpiece! Participants will pick up their take home kits the evening of the 23rd or morning of the 24th at Infirmary Mound Park. Kits will be composed of flowers, plastic centerpiece holder, floral foam, greens, and pinecones. Ribbon and candles will be available to choose during pickup. Flower colors will reflect the season, but kits will vary in color and are first come first serve. The class will be held on Zoom the evening of the 24th so you can create in the comfort of your home! Watch the demonstration to learn some techniques, than make the centerpiece your own! Creativity is encouraged.
