**The Panhandle Trail (Dayton Rd to Felumlee Rd) will be CLOSED on MONDAY April 22 for herbicide spraying. **TJE Trail east of Granville between the cemetery and Rotary Bridge/Raccoon Valley Park due to bank slip; **There will be periodic closures April 22-26, dawn to dusk, on the TJ Evans Bike Trail from Concord Rd (Johnstown) to the cemetery area in Granville east of Main St for hazardous tree removal. Trails at Taft Reserve, Infirmary Mound Park and Lobdell Reserve are CLOSED to HORSES due to conditions unsuitable for equine traffic. Bike Trails: TJ Evans Trail between Newark and Granville: The TJ Evans bike trail will be CLOSED at the new Thornwood Crossing bridge area, Mon-Fri, 7a-5p, until further notice. There will be other, temporary closures intermittently over the following few months, during working hours (7A-5P; M-F). Experience the magic of International Fairy Day by making your own little fairy out of recycled materials, courtesy of Licking County Recycling. Afterward, take a guided hike along the Fairy Trail with a Park District Naturalist to see if we can find any fairies, or at least signs that they’ve been around. Meet at Shelter 6.
