**The Panhandle Trail (Dayton Rd to Felumlee Rd) will be CLOSED on MONDAY April 22 for herbicide spraying. **TJE Trail east of Granville between the cemetery and Rotary Bridge/Raccoon Valley Park due to bank slip; **There will be periodic closures April 22-26, dawn to dusk, on the TJ Evans Bike Trail from Concord Rd (Johnstown) to the cemetery area in Granville east of Main St for hazardous tree removal. Trails at Taft Reserve, Infirmary Mound Park and Lobdell Reserve are CLOSED to HORSES due to conditions unsuitable for equine traffic. Bike Trails: TJ Evans Trail between Newark and Granville: The TJ Evans bike trail will be CLOSED at the new Thornwood Crossing bridge area, Mon-Fri, 7a-5p, until further notice. There will be other, temporary closures intermittently over the following few months, during working hours (7A-5P; M-F). Eagle Stroll- Granville Bike Path

Get outside with us as we enjoy a fun and low pressure bird watching stroll on the bike trail on the way to the Granville bald eagle nest. This hike will provide you with some of the basic techniques you need to become comfortable with spotting and identifying birds. We will also discuss Ohio’s Bald eagle conservation success story. We will have our spotting scopes to share. We will hike in together, but participants can head back to the
parking area independently!
Outdoor clothing, good walking shoes/boots and binoculars are recommended. Program is weather dependent.
