Trails at Taft Reserve will be Closed tothe PUBLIC (Horse and all other users) on Wednesday Nov 22 until 1pm. Trails at Infirmary Mound Park and Lobdell Reserve will remain open to horses and all users during the Taft closure. Bike Trails: The TJ Evans bike trail remains closed just west of Reddington Rd tunnel and underneath Rt 16 for bridge projects. When: Thursdays, July 7th, 14th, 21st @ 9 -11 AM, Saturday, July 30th @ 9 – 11 AM
July 7th and 14th will focus on Japanese Knotweed at Riverview Preserve.
Invasive plants can take over quickly. Removing them helps support biodiversity in the ecosystem. Volunteers will be shown how to identify invasives and learn best practices for removal using hand tools and herbicide. Tools and gloves will be provided for volunteers. Please wear long pants and close toed shoes. The activity level will be moderate; volunteers will be walking, bending down, and using hand tools.
