**The Panhandle Trail (Dayton Rd to Felumlee Rd) will be CLOSED on MONDAY April 22 for herbicide spraying. **TJE Trail east of Granville between the cemetery and Rotary Bridge/Raccoon Valley Park due to bank slip; **There will be periodic closures April 22-26, dawn to dusk, on the TJ Evans Bike Trail from Concord Rd (Johnstown) to the cemetery area in Granville east of Main St for hazardous tree removal. Trails at Taft Reserve, Infirmary Mound Park and Lobdell Reserve are CLOSED to HORSES due to conditions unsuitable for equine traffic. Bike Trails: TJ Evans Trail between Newark and Granville: The TJ Evans bike trail will be CLOSED at the new Thornwood Crossing bridge area, Mon-Fri, 7a-5p, until further notice. There will be other, temporary closures intermittently over the following few months, during working hours (7A-5P; M-F). Birding Stroll – Bald Eagles

Birding Stroll- Granville Bike Path
Get outside with us as we enjoy a fun and low pressure bird watching stroll on the bike trail between Granville and Alexandria on an approximately 1 hour hike in search of our resident and migratory bird species. On the way we will stop by the bald eagle nest. This hike will provide you with some of the basic techniques you need to become comfortable with spotting and identifying birds. Outdoor clothing, good walking shoes/boots and binoculars are recommended. Masks required when closer than 6 feet to others. Social distancing guidelines will be followed. Program is weather dependent.
