2017 Women’s Outdoor Skills Workshop

The Licking Park District will host our 2nd Women’s Outdoor Skills Workshop, designed for women to experience nature and outdoor recreational activities in a fun and non-competitive environment. The workshop will feature multiple sessions from which participants can choose topics such as nature journaling, archery, stand up paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, fly fishing, sensory awareness, fire making, beekeeping, birding, nature photography and more.
FEE: $50, Lunch Provided
Come learn the outdoor skills that are necessary to enjoy these activities! Classes are taught by expert instructors, but designed for a beginner! All equipment provided, with the exception of nature photography, where you are urged to bring your own camera or phone, and nature journaling, where you are urged to bring binoculars if you have them. We will have some on hand.

Age limit: 16 and up. Minors must be accompanied by adult.
