October 21 @ 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

howloween-2017

Calling all dogs and their humans! Get your costumes ready! We will have sheep herding demonstrations, an optional parade (walk) through Infirmary Mound Park, followed by the dog costume contest at the dog park. There will be vendors, a bounce house for the kids, treats for the whole family, and plenty of time for dogs to play in our 4 acre dog park! We will be joined by The Licking County Dog Shelter and The Licking Humane Society, who will have adoptable dogs. Newark Veterinary Hospital will be on hand to offer nail trimmings and microchipping. Spectators are encouraged to bring chairs. Polite, leashed dogs welcome.

Costume contest entries are encouraged to register through our website prior to the event. Guest judges will decide the winners of categories including: Most Humorous, Best Owner/Dog Combo, Most Original, Best Small, and Best Large Dog. Costume entries can enter TWO categories.
