Licking Park District Accepting Applications for Board Member Vacancy - Licking Park District

Trails at Infirmary Mound, Taft Reserve North and South, and Lobdell Reserve are open to horses and all other users.

GRANVILLE, OHIO (September 1, 2019) The Licking Park
District is accepting applications for the Board of the Park
Commissioners. Applicants are asked to submit a cover letter
and resume to the attention of Judge Hoover, Licking Park District, P.O. Box 590, Granville, OH 43023. All applications must be received by noon on September 9, 2019.

The Board supports the work of the Licking Park District and provides mission-based leadership and strategic governance. Licking Park District’s Board Members serve a three-year term and are eligible for reappointment. Board meetings are held monthly. This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting the Licking Park District’s mission.

Ideal candidates should have the following qualifications:

  • Professional experience with significant leadership accomplishments in business, government, philanthropy, or the nonprofit sector
  • An understanding of and commitment to the communities served by the Licking Park District
  • Savvy diplomatic skills, a natural affinity for cultivating relationships, an ability for convening, facilitating, persuading, and building consensus among diverse individuals
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a passion for improving the lives of Licking Park District’s beneficiaries
