The Harvest Moon Rendezvous was an experience of what life was like in ages past. A stroll through an 1840s encampment was enjoyed for the sights, food aromas, and sounds of re-enactors. Sutlers, craftsmen, shooters, buckskinners, and others were dressed in period costume.
An added bonus was the Harvest Moon Festival on Saturday, October 8th, from 12–4pm. Great fun for the whole family! Activities included: pumpkin painting, crafts, face painting, horse drawn carriage rides, and touch a tractor. Try your hand at archery or pet farm animals at the Bring the Farm to You petting zoo. There was a bounce house, Land of Legend Woodcarvers, Moe’s Original BBQ, and more. There were plenty of photo opportunities to catch your children, family, and friends having a blast!
